Absolut Lightness

Ingredients:

1 part Absolut Citron Vodka
1 part Strega
1 part Crème de Banane
1 part Lemon Juice

Instructions:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a well chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon peel and a cherry.

Moon Mountain Mother Earth Nectar

Ingredients:

11/2 oz. Moon Mountain Vodka
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Agave Nectar
4 slices Cucumber
3 sprigs Mint

Instructions:

Add the cucumber and mint to a cocktail shaker and muddle to release flavors.  Fill cocktail shaker with ice and add Moon Mountain Vodka, lime juice, and agave syrup.  Shake vigorously and strain into an old fashioned glass.  Garnish with a slice of cucumber and mint sprig.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. Vodka (Whipped Cream)
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1 cup Orange Juice
1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
2 cups ice cubes

Lillet Blanc on ice

Keep it simple for Bastille Day on July 14th with two stylish cocktails made with Lillet, France's favourite wine aperitif.  Try it neat over ice or add lemonade to the red variety, et voila, a French twist on the British Pimm's.

50 ml chilled Lillet Blanc

Method:

Pour over ice for an aperitif as they do in France or add sparkling mineral water for a Lillet Blanc Spritzer.

Lemonade
Wedges of orange and summer fruits

Method:

Fill a glass with cubed ice, pour over the Lillet Rouge, top up with lemonade and add fruit.

Apples and Oranges Martini

Ingredients:

Orange Vodka
10 oz. Apple Liqueur
10 oz. Cranberry Juice

Mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher with ice.  Stir 50 times to properly dilute the drink and remove ice.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.  Pour into chilled martini glasses.  Garnish each with a twist of orange peel and apple slice and serve.
Best served in a cocktail glass.
(There is no measurement for the vodka in this recipe)

Mixed Fruity Tropical-Summer Blackberry Brandy

Ingredients:

1 oz. Amaretto
1 oz. Blackberry Brandy
3/4 oz. Dry Vermouth
Pineapple and Orange Juices
Orange Bitters
Crushed Ice

Directions:

In a mixer, blend amaretto and blackberry brandy, 1 oz. each, with 3/4 oz. dry vermouth and crushed ice, until slushy.  Pour this into a Collins glass.  Now, fill the rest of the glass with chilled pineapple and orange juices (you might as well try your combinations with cranberry or pomegranate).
Add a dash of orange bitters from top and drink.

Salted Tequila Gimlet

Made with fresh lime, simple syrup, Patron Silver Tequila and celery bitters.  Shaken and served up or on the rocks.  Half-salted rimmed chilled rocks glass.

2 oz. Patron Silver Tequila
1 oz. lime juice
1 oz. simple syrup
2 dashes The Bitter Truth Bitters
(or Fee Bros. Bitters)
Salt rim on half the glass and lime wheel

Wet outside rim of glass with lime wedge and dip into a bowl of salt. Set aside.
Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a chilled, rimmed rocks glass.  Top with floating lime wheel.

Electrolyte

The Electrolyte is a refreshing pink summer drink made from New Amsterdam Gin, watermelon, pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar and served over ice in a highball glass.

Ingredients:

2 1/2 oz. Gin (New Amsterdam)
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 slices of Watermelon
Splash of Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Sugar
Garnish: Watermelon



Directions:

Muddle watermelon in a cocktail shaker.
Add the remaining ingredients with ice, and shake vigorously.
Strain into a highball glass full of ice and garnish with watermelon slice.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz . Triple Sec
1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
1.4 oz. Grenadine

Method:

Add all the ingredients, except Grenadine into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake for a few seconds then strain into a chilled glass.
Pour the grenadine on top of the drink.
The grenadine being heavier will sink to the bottom of the glass.
