The Ronettes - Be My Baby

Ingredients:

6 oz. Vodka
3 oz. Blue Curacao
3 oz. Lime Juice
1 oz. (12 oz.) can of Ginger Beer
3 lime rounds, for garnish
Paper umbrellas for garnish, optional




Directions:

Divide vodka, blue curacao and lime juice between 3 glasses and stir to combine.
Fill glasses with ice and top off each drink with ginger beer.
Garnish with lime rounds and umbrella, if using.  3 servings.

What makes these cocktails blue?  It's Curacao, a blue liqueur made from citrus peels.
It's tangy flavor is the perfect compliment to your average Moscow Mule.

Pomegranate Splash Scotch Cocktail

A refreshing Scotch cocktail for a sweltering Summer afternoon.  Be warned though, it goes down easy.

Makes 1 serving.
Prep time:  5 minutes





Ingredients:

3.5 oz. Lemon Juice
4 tsp. Simple Syrup
2 oz. Pomegranate Juice
1 oz. Scotch
Splash of Tonic Water

How to make it:

1. Add lemon juice, simple syrup, and pomegranate juice into a glass and stir.
2. Add scotch.  Pour into glasses over ice and top with tonic water.

Lana Del Rey - Young and Beautiful

Ingredients:

4 fresh mint leaves
3 sugar cubes
2 1/4 inch cucumber slices
1 tsp. grated lemongrass
6 tbsp. fresh pressed cucumber juice
1/4 cup 2 oz. white rum
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
6 tbsp. club soda
Cucumber slices and mint leaves for garnish




How to make it:
Muddle mint leaves, sugar cubes, cucumber slices and grated lemongrass in a cocktail shaker.
Add fresh pressed cucumber juice, white rum, and fresh lime juice. Swirl to combine. Add ice,
cover with lid, and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled. Strain into an ice filled Colling glass.  Top with club soda.  Garnish with cucumber slices and mint leaves, if desired

Orange Sunset

Enjoy a beautiful sunset on the back deck with a refreshing fruit cocktail in a glass.  The Orange Sunset is a peach colored drink recipe made from Burnett's orange vodka, lemonade, orange juice and cranberry juice, and served over ice in a highball glass.

Ingredients:

2 oz. Orange Vodka (Burnett's)
2 oz. Lemonade
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
2 oz. Orange Juice
Orange peel for garnish



Directions:

Shake all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker.
Strain into a highball glass full of ice.
Garnish with an orange twist.

Kiwifruit and Midori Slushy

Ingredients:

4 Kiwi fruits peeled, chopped
1 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1/3 cup vodka
1/2 cup Midori melon liqueur




Directions:

Put all of the above in blender.
Blend till smooth.
Add a few handfuls of crushed ice and blend till mixture is slushy.
Serves 4.

Minty Lime Frozen Mojito

These gorgeous lime mojitos call for Key-Lime flavored Rum, frozen limeade, and a sprinkling of fresh mint leaves.  (Makes 3 cups)
Recipe by Coastal Living

Ingredients:

1 ounce container of Frozen Limeade Concentrate
3/4 cup Key Lime flavored Rum (Or other flavored)
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
Garnishes: fresh mint sprigs and lime slices



How to make it:

Combine limeade concentrate, rum and fresh mint leaves in a blender. Fill to the a 5-cup mark with cracked ice.  Blend until smooth.  Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and lime slices before serving, if desired.

Honeyed Cherry Daiquiri

This tart and sweet cocktail goes down easy.
(1 serving)
Ingredients:

8 sweet cherries pitted
2 oz. light rum
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1 tbsp. honey
Dash of bitters
Slice of lime for garnish
1/4 oz. maraschino liqueur (optional)

Muddle cherries in the bottom of cocktail shaker until fruit is broken down and juices are released.
Add rum, lime juice, honey bitters and maraschino liqueur, if desired.  Fill with ice and shake until chilled, 20 to 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled stemmed glass. Garnish with lime slice.

Heat Wave


Ingredients:

1 oz. Coconut Rum
1 oz. Peach Schnapps
Pineapple Juice
Splash of Grenadine
Garnish:  Cherry and Pineapple Slice

Instructions:

Pour the coconut rum and peach schnapps into a glass with ice.
Fill it with pineapple and add the splash of grenadine.


Comments:  Some Bartenders use Dark Rum instead of the Coconut Rum.
