Deep Pacific

Dreaming of a tropical vacation.

1 1/2 oz. Vodka
1 1/2 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 tbs. Midori Liqueur
7 Up or Sprite (Lemon-Lime Soda)

Fill a Collins glass with ice, add all ingredients except 7UP and stir, then fill glass with 7UP.

All things Polynesian became popular after WWII. Today Tiki drinks continue the South Pacific tradition in bars. Rum is often the common denominator in Tiki drinks and presentation is essential.  Some bartenders will even float high- proof liquor on top of drinks and light them on fire.
