Blue Latitude

The Blue Latitude drink is a blue/green/orange colored drink recipe made from Cruzan orange rum, Blue Curacao, Orange juice and lemon lime soda, and served over ice in a highball glass.

Ingredients:

1 oz. Orange Rum
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 oz. Orange Juice
Lemon-lime soda
Orange garnish




Directions:

Fill a highball glass with ice
Add orange rum, blue curacao and orange juice in order
Fill with lemon lime soda
Garnish with an orange slice and serve without stirring.

2 oz. Tequila
1/4 oz. Navy strength rum, Smith & Cross
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Cinnamon Syrup

Instructions:

Add orange wedges to a shaker and muddle.
Add everything else and shake over ice.
Strain into a double rocks glass over fresh crushed ice.
Garnish with an orange crescent.

The full moon of February, called the Snow Moon, will occur in the eastern U.S. during the wee hours of Sunday, Feb. 9, about a day before reaching perigee, the closest point to Earth in its orbit — creating a full moon that appears slightly larger than average.

The decade's first supermoon called the super snow moon is shining this weekend.
February's full moon is also a supermoon meaning the moon is both full and at it's closest point to the Earth in it's orbit, this closest point is called it's "perigee" which makes the moon look larger.

Pour vodka into a blender.  Add Passoa, Orange juice and Pineapple Juice.  Add crushed ice and flesh of an orange.  Blend well, pour into a Collins glass, and serve.
