Spring Feeling

Spring Feeling Cocktail Recipe

1 oz. Gin
1 oz. Green Chartreuse Liqueur*
1 tbsp. Lemon Juice

In a cocktail shaker, combine then shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass and serve.  Makes 1 drink.

*Chartreuse is a French liqueur made by the Carthusian Monks since 1737 according to the instructions set out in the secret manuscript given to them by Francois Annibal d'Estrees in 1605. 
It is composed of distilled alcohol aged with 130 herbs, plants and flowers.

It's Spring!

Spring Fever (Non-alcoholic)

Ingredients:

3/4 oz. lemon juice
3/4 oz. mango juice
1 1/2 oz. apple juice *
2 oz. blood orange juice

Pour the ingredients into a shaker and shake well over ice cubes. 
Strain into a Collins glass half filled with crushed ice. 
 *Pineapple juice from drinksmixer recipe.

More green drinks

Glowing Gecko
(adapted from RecipeZaar)          

2 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice or Rose's Lime Juice
1 oz. Club Soda

Combine first three ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake and strain. Serve either straight up or over ice in a martini glass. Pour in club soda and garnish with lime.


Irish Tea Party

Ingredients:

4 parts sweetened green tea (chilled)
1 part Jameson Irish Whiskey
1/2 part Pernod Absinthe
Lime slice for garnish

Preparation:

Rinse rocks glass with Pernod Absinthe. Add ice.
Pour Jameson over the ice.                                               
Add green tea and garnish with a lime slice.

Frozen Cucumber Mint Mojito

Ice
One 12-ounce can Limeade
12 oz Vodka
3 baby cucumbers
About 2 cups of fresh mint leaves

Fill blender halfway with ice. Add the remaining ingredients and process until slushy.  Pour into glasses and serve.




Chilled Magazine

Lucky Leprechaun

1 oz. Midori 
2 oz Vodka
Juice from two lime wedges

Pour over ice and serve in a low ball glass.

Mardi Gras cocktail

Ingredients

2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups orange juice
4 maraschino cherries, plus 1/2 cup juice
1/2 orange cut into 4 slices
4 ounces dark rum, optional




In a pitcher, stir together pineapple juice, orange juice and cherry juice. 
Fill a tall glass with ice, pour over the juice mixture, garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.
For the adults add one ounce dark rum to each drink.
