Portuguese Daisy

2 oz. ruby port
1 oz. brandy
1 oz. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. superfine sugar
1/2 tsp. grenadine syrup

Pour the port, brandy, lemon juice, sugar and grenadine into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes.  Shake well and pour into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge, and serve.

Summery Bear Float


Wednesday was the Summer Solstice, 1st day of Summer, longest day of the year. Okay, two days late.
Found this:

Summery Bear Float

1 part ginger syrup
1 part lime juice
1 1/2 parts Reyka vodka

Shake and put into a long glass over lots of ice. Garnish with lime zest and topped with white ale.

Planter's Punch

Planter's Punch Recipe

Serves 1
  • 2 oz. dark rum
  • 1.5 oz. sour mix
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • .5 tsp. grenadine
  • freshly squeezed juice of 1/4 lime
  • club soda
  • orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish
Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add rum, sour mix, bitters, grenadine and lime juice. Stir, then top off with club soda. Garnish with the orange and cherry, and enjoy!

Jealous June cocktail

Glass:  Cocktail glass

4 Ingredients:   
  • 15 ml Cointreau
  • 90 ml Pineapple Juice
  • 30 ml Midori
  • 20 ml White Rum

Method:

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for 10-15 secs. Strain into cocktail glass.

Nantucket

Nantucket cocktail

Ingredients:

2 oz. brandy
1 oz. cranberry juice
1 oz. grapefruit juice

Pour the brandy, cranberry juice, and grapefruit juice into a mixing glass half filled with cracked ice.
Stir well, and strain into a cocktail glass.  Garnish with a slice of lime, and serve.

Strawberry Moonshine Julep

Ingredients

2 large ripe strawberries, washed, hulled and cut into 14–inch pieces
2 tsp. sugar
3 leaves fresh mint, plus a sprig for garnish
2 oz. moonshine or white whiskey, like Original Moonshine
12 oz. lemon juice

Instructions

Combine cut strawberries, sugar, mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Stir and let stand until strawberries are macerated, up to 10 minutes. Add moonshine, lemon juice, and ice to fill the shaker, and shake vigorously for an additional minute. Pour out contents into mason jars, adding more ice as needed. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Blue London Sidecar


Ingredients:

1 oz. Blue Curacao Liqueur
2 oz. Tangueray® Gin
1 oz. lime juice


Recipe instructions:

For thirty seconds, shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. 
Strain into glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge.

Disco Dancer

Ingredients:
2 drops Angostura Bitter
3 cl Rum
3 cl Creme de Banana
Sparkling Wine
Mixture:
1. Pour all ingredients, except the sparkling wine, into a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake and strain into a Champagne glass.
3. Complete with cold sparkling white wine.
4. Serve.

Vodka Volcano







Ingredients:
2 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Grapefruit juice
1 tsp. Grenadine
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
Glass to use:  Highball glass


Mixing Instructions:

Shake everything except grenadine with ice and then pour into a highball glass half filled with ice cubes. Drop the grenadine into the center of the drink, making a red trail down through the ice.
