Alabama Slammer

Here's a little tribute to perennial NCAA Football champions Alabama. This drink is said to have actually been created at the University of Alabama back in 1975.  After doing a bit of research, there must be a dozen or so closely related versions of this cocktail.  Our version is rather simple and really bursting with a great fruity and nutty flavor.  It only takes about a minute to make, and if you're not careful, it'll disappear just as fast.  We hope you enjoy our featured cocktail... Alabama Slammer.
Roll Tide!

Ingredients

1 oz. Sloe Gin
1 oz. Amaretto
1 oz. Southern Comfort (or Peach Schnapps)
1.5 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. Orange Juice
Cherry or Orange Wedge to garnish.

Directions

Combine all of the ingredients into an ice filled cocktail shaker.  Cover, shake well , and pour into a Collins glass. Garnish accordingly, insert a straw, and enjoy your Alabama Slammer.
