The Margarita is easy to make and can be modified in a variety of ways. The recipe below is for a so called Frozen Lime Margarita, which adds the refreshing taste of limes to this traditional drink.
Ingredients:
1 cup of ice
35 ml (7 parts Tequila)
15 ml (3 parts) Triple Sec
15 ml (3 parts Lime Juice)
70 ml (14 parts) Sour Mix
Salt and lime wedge (optional)
Preparation:
Pour the ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth.
(Optional) Rub the rim of a Margarita glass and pour salt on it.
Pour contents into the glass, careful not to dislodge the salt.
Garnish with a lime wedge and serve over ice.

Blue Bayou
As the name implies, this drink is blue which makes it great for hot summer days by default. But the fruity and exotic taste of pineapples and grapefruit certainly do their part in making this one of the definite cool-down drinks.
1 cup of ice
30 ml (6 parts) vodka
15 ml (3 parts) Blue Curacao
30 ml (6 parts) pineapple juice
30 ml (6 parts) grapefruit juice
Preparation:
1. Pour the ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth.
2. Serve in a chilled highball glass.
3. If the drink it too sweet/bitter, experiment with the pineapple/grapefruit ratio.

Firecracker
To
make simple syrup, mix equal parts hot water and sugar until sugar is
dissolved. Pour grenadine into bottom of an empty Collins glass. Add ice.
Gently pour Curacao over grenadine. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice,
combine vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Strain over curacao and serve
with straw on the side, so guests can place straw into glass and see the layers
explode.
