Firecracker


Ingredients:
 
1 1/4 ounce Vodka
1 ounce Lemon Juice
1 1/4 ounce Blue Curacao
3/4 ounce Grenadine
A splash of simple syrup

To make simple syrup, mix equal parts hot water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Pour grenadine into bottom of an empty Collins glass. Add ice. Gently pour Curacao over grenadine. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Strain over curacao and serve with straw on the side, so guests can place straw into glass and see the layers explode.
