Ingredients:
8 sweet cherries pitted
2 oz. light rum
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1 tbsp. honey
Dash of bitters
Slice of lime for garnish
1/4 oz. maraschino liqueur (optional)
Muddle cherries in the bottom of cocktail shaker until fruit is broken down and juices are released.
Add rum, lime juice, honey bitters and maraschino liqueur, if desired. Fill with ice and shake until chilled, 20 to 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled stemmed glass. Garnish with lime slice.
